Cock and Bull produce a superlative ceilidh. They play an Anglo-French mix of music, variously with bagpipes, clarinet, sax, keyboards, electronic percussion, mandocello and appalachian dulcimer. You can dance to them twice and experience two completely different dances - Bourrées and Bransles (pronounced Brawls) one night and English Folk dance the next. What you get depends on the caller.... How good it is depends on what the dancers were expecting. With a good crowd, a good caller and a good mix of the English and French it can be phenominal.
