Webfeet formatting

Webfeet picks out dates/events/locations by looking for extra markup within pages on the web:

  • Format of events entries:
    • Dance styles
    • Handling the date
      • Handing different events on the same date
    • Information in the H1 header
    • Markup tags used
      • Map references
    • The D.END tag
    • The D.SKIP tag
  • Example templates:
    • Using a Defintion list - for a Dance series or festival
    • Using a simple table
    • Using a table with background colours
    • Using a Definition list - for a band

Webfeeter

Mr Red has developed an Excel spreadsheet with the necessary macros to mark up events using the Webfeet tags.
